The word "photography" comes from a Greek word meaning "to write with light." This might seem like an abstract idea, but it's actually not. Photography literally captures the thing in front of the lens and records it as a still, two- dimensional image. It all starts with light. They can then manipulate the picture after taking it and make changes accordingly to meet their vision for that moment - whether they want to record a true image or create something more artistic and imaginative. For most of photography's history, the photographer had to be very skilled in order to capture the light. Only recently has digital technology changed this and allowed an ordinary person to make pictures without a sophist
